have an average survival of three to five
months after diagnosis.
• Chronic Chronic leukemia usually
involves the white blood cells , although
the red blood cells may rarely be
involved. Unlike acute leukemia, the
leukemic cell clone involved in chronic
leukemia does show all stages of
maturation, with only a few blast forms.
